Major Damian Ffriend, Ret., J.P., PhD, serves as Manager, Pension Services and Business Development at VM Pensions Management Limited, where he leads initiatives focused on client acquisition, portfolio growth, employer engagement, and relationship-based pension solutions.

He brings more than 15 years of experience in financial services, sales leadership, business development, and regulated client service environments. Prior to joining VM Pensions, he served as Senior Manager, Sales and Service at JN Life Insurance, where he helped drive gross sales growth exceeding 400 percent over three years through disciplined sales leadership, client acquisition strategy, and advisor productivity improvement.

A strategic and people-focused leader, Major Ffriend is recognized for building high-performing teams, expanding client portfolios, improving sales effectiveness, and balancing commercial growth with transparency, trust, and long-term client value. His leadership experience spans financial services, executive advisory, organizational development, personnel welfare, and public-sector governance.
