Gloria Henry is the current Vice President for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Logistics at the Port Authority of Jamaica, responsible for leadership and strategic management of services across several business lines.
Among her professional certifications are a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Nova Southeastern University, an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Commonwealth Organisation of Learning (COL) and certificate in Project Management from the Mona School of Business and Management.
Her approximately 30-year professional career spanning service at the Port Authority of Jamaica and the Development Bank of Jamaica has seen her sharpening her skills in leadership development and coaching, project management, organisational management, vendor relationship management, and change management, among others.
In addition to her daily professional duties, she sits on the Heart NSTA Trust Board and the Montego Bay Arts Council. In recognition of her tireless work over the years, she has received special recognition nationally and regionally, most notably as an inductee in the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce’s Wall of Fame in 2022, the 2018 RJRGLEANER Honour Award for Business Specialism and the 2022 Nearshore America’s Executive of the Year.
