Kedon Clarke was appointed Assistant Manager – Pensions Investment at VM’s Pensions Management Limited in August 2022, after a successful three-year stint as Senior Investment Officer with responsibility for portfolio management and strategy. In his current capacity he oversees the management of a high-performing investment team and undertakes investment activities that include preparing regulatory documents, and marketing coverage for local equities, bonds, real estate, money markets and USD fixed incomes.

Kedon has dexterously crafted a professional career in finance, having joined the VM Team with eight years of remarkable experience in the industry. By his very nature, Kedon engenders financial awareness, high-level executions, and has remarkable problem-solving skills, which have all positioned him at some of the country’s top financial institutions.

His dynamism and multifaceted nature also see him serving in a critical and functional role that addresses the housing needs of Jamaicans, including the informally settled, through the Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ). He serves on the agency’s Board of Directors as a member of its Finance and Information Technology Committee and a member of the Board of Trustees for its pension plan. Kedon earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of West Indies (UWI), Mona and has completed a post-graduate certificate in Portfolio Management from Fitz Ritson and Associates. As he seeks to further strengthen his academic and professional toolkit, Kedon is now pursuing an MSc in Enterprise Risk Management at UWI.
